This is a big issue everybody should give the importance it deserves, everyday the climate is getting worse, there ate some days so hot and the next one is cold. it is because of all the changes we have made so it is up to us to try to help our environment because this is our house and it will be our children's house too.
However it is a little bit difficult to get information about this important thing we must know at least some tips to help our planet. We can surf on internet and easily find them. Some tips we can put in practice are:
Use cloth bags instead of those made of plastic.
Plant a tree.
Don't buy bottled water, it costs and the amount of container waste will increase. Prefer a water filter and use a aluminium bottle.
Use the collective transport or even better bikes or go walking.
Personally I try to help as much as I can, for example I don't keep running the water while brushing my teeth or I unplug the electrical devices I'm not using.
Our society (Chile) is not as much advanced in this topic as other countries in Europe or North America. We don't have that thinking and that education they have so we should copy some practices because the world needs us. Here in Santiago the pollution is awful sometimes we cant even see the Andes mountains. This is so sad to see this city like this (image) So I hope we could change this and contribute our grain of sand.

ResponderBorrarI hate a lot Santiago because of the pollution too, I think is urgent to do something about it, it's really embarrassing for tourism.

I hate so much the pollution... Ovalle is contaminated, its truth, but here in Santiago the situation is simply horrible !! We need to so something to stop this situation, because we cant live like this !!
