Financial Independence

Hello everyone
I have a question for you: Is money an important issue for you?Well, for me it’s a little difficult to manage it but I try to do my best.
I will tell you how I obtain the money, well, my mum gives me some pesos every month, and also I have an scholarship so I have my money for my needs. I try to buy things I really need so I can save as much money I can. I try to save money but sometimes it’s so hard to me to resist to beautiful things like awesome shoes. There are times when I have saved a little bit of money I do my shopping on-line (I buy clothes and shoes) when these items go on sale because I'm too lazy to go to the store and it’s cheaper. I don’t have to buy food to cook because my uncle goes to the grocery store and his wife cook what he buys so good for me.

When I get a job I’ll save money to built my own house and decorate it by myself, I'm already doing the plan of my future house. The first years I will live with my mother to spend less money while I collect all the money. After my house is built and decorated I’ll save money for other things such as a car, a bicycle.Here in Chile the wealth distribution is not equal, the difference between the richest families and the poorest ones is huge. This is a sad situation because the richest keep earning more and more money while the poorest people stay being poor.

My Life :D

Hello everybody! Today I’m going to talk about my life, the best moments, the not that good ones, the achievements of this year and others things.

The best memories I have are when I was in exchange in Quebec for one year from August 2011 to July 2012. That was a different, difficult but mostly an amazing year because I knew a different culture, I learnt to see the world from a different point of view; I tried a lot of new food I loved “poutine” which is elaborated with fries, cheese and gravy (sauce) it is so delicious I’m dying for a poutine since I left Quebec. I met new people some of them are still my friends, especially a girl from Italy, we became best friends in our exchange period. I learnt French it was a little bit hard at the beginning but I could speak the language. I knew other places: Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City, New York.

I miss so much eating poutine every month :(

I think I haven’t had terrible moments that I could not surmount. I had problems with my family a little bit complicated but I’m not going to talk about it because now we are happy.

Now in 2014 I started the university and it has been hard but I think it’s great to meet people like you, with almost the same interests. I’m happy studying what I wanted at the university I wanted. Been accepted into the dentistry career has been an achievement for me. I enjoy coming to the university even if sometimes it’s a bit boring I love the university atmosphere. My friends are so crazy and I love them I love spending time with them because we are laughing all the time :D

HOW GREEN ARE YOU?

Hello people! Today's topic is so important and it include everybody because it is our responsibility to care about the planet and its environment.

This is a big issue everybody should give the importance it deserves, everyday the climate is getting worse, there ate some days so hot and the next one is cold. it is because of all the changes we have made so it is up to us to try to help our environment because this is our house and it will be our children's house too.

However it is a little bit difficult to get information about this important thing we must know at least some tips to help our planet. We can surf on internet and easily find them. Some tips we can put in practice are:

Use cloth bags instead of those made of plastic.

Plant a tree.

Don't buy bottled water, it costs and the amount of container waste will increase. Prefer a water filter and use a aluminium bottle.

Use the collective transport or even better bikes or go walking.

 

Personally I try to help as much as I can, for example I don't keep running the water while brushing my teeth or I unplug the electrical devices I'm not using.

Our society (Chile) is not as much advanced in this topic as other countries in Europe or North America. We don't have that thinking and that education they have so we should copy some practices because the world needs us. Here in Santiago the pollution is awful sometimes we cant even see the Andes mountains. This is so sad to see this city like this (image) So I hope we could change this and contribute our grain of sand.

Hello everybody!

Today we have to talk about a controversial issue; we chose the fact that technologies have changed the way we socialize with the people around us. It has changed in a negative way or not?
Well, I think that people before having all these technologies had great relationships because when they started a conversation they did it face to face. Nowadays the conversation we hold are not bad but they do have a bad part: sometimes people get you wrong and they misunderstand what you really wanted to say because of the gestures absence and all the other nonverbal communication signs such as changes on the tone of the voice that suggest some emotions you don’t get through the written words in the screen.

Some people have abused on the internet networks, we can evidence this seeing people that can’t have a normal conversation or it is hard to those persons. But it depends how much time you spend online on your cell phone or any device and how much importance you give to the social networks. I think that if you control the internet (and not be controlled by) it can be so useful, for example, to talk to friends or family in other places in the country or in the world.


In my opinion I think that progress is inevitable and technologies will get advanced more and more, so in that case we have to try not to let us be under internet control.

My app

Hello friends! Today’s topic is about an app I would design. My app will be about the well-known cat called Pusheen so if you adore this cat you will love this app.

The app is actually a game with this cat Pusheen as the main character, its name is Pusheen’s Adventures. It will be an amusing game for children, they would get joy playing this game because it is not difficult to learn how to play and the themes are enjoyable. But that doesn’t mean people older can’t download and play this game. Everybody can!

With this app you will be able to discover and live so many adventures with this amazing cat. There are so many stages; there will be approximately 30 stages with different challenges and friends that will help you to achieve the goal of every stage.

This app will include bonus stages depending on the score you get which you will see on a chart that will appear after you lose,  you can share you score on facebook or twitter and dare a friend to break you record. Also if two or more people are connected to the game they can play at the same time with their Pusheens shown in the same screen.

Best Concert Ever

Hello! In this opportunity I’m gonna talk about the first concert I’ve been to. It was in 2010 I remember that day like it was yesterday. The concert was in the evening at 7 pm but in the morning my best friend and I went to the hotel where our idols stayed. There were a lot of people outside the hotel screaming and singing, suddenly everybody started to scream so loud, I looked up the balcony and they were there. The Jonas Brothers, the band of brothers that writes their own songs and plays the instruments themselves.  After they left the balcony and the hotel we went to the stadium where the concert took place, the stadium”Monumental”.

We had “golden” tickets the second most expensive but the attendant, (the person who tell the people where their seats is located) made a mistake and she led us to the VIP location the best mistake she could make. The moment of their appearance was coming, when they finally appear we went crazy and started to scream so loud. It was our first concert of them so it was amazing, breathtaking, awesome. We enjoyed so much that spectacle, we sing their songs and they enjoyed it as well because they were happy while they were playing the songs and instruments. We love them and they love us.

 The worst part was the end of the show. We were so sad that it was over. But I saw them again in 2013 so I was happy again J

Post 2. Week 5. If you could have a super power, which one would it be?

Hello! This time I’m going to talk about a superpower I would like to have, it has been so hard to choose one, I thought of phasing, super learning, heal others, time pause but I chose: FLIGHT.

Flying without wings, just elevate yourself to the sky and not getting tired would be awesome.

I chose it because with that superpower I could go anywhere I want, feel the wind in my face, see the city from the sky and a lot of things like:

If I’m late for the university and I don’t want to take the bus or subway (and avoid the traffic) I could fly to get there.

If suddenly I want to go to my home in Placilla I could fly and see my family.

If I have to buy something but the place where they sell it is far away I could fly and buy it.

If I’m simply bored I could fly to a peaceful and beautiful place, explore new places or just relax, take a nap.

If I want to see my friends, instead of taking the subway I can go flying.

I would be like superman!

There are so many things you could do if you could fly. That sensation would be so amazing, the freedom and happiness you would feel is priceless.
